Ryan Weber, owner and lead technician

Appliance Repair Murrieta is operated by Ryan Weber, a Murrieta-based appliance service professional specialising in premium residential brands. Ryan has 14 years of hands-on experience across the standard brands and the high-end European and American premium brands that are common in Murrieta's newer master-planned communities. The current business was founded in 2025 after Ryan spent six years as a lead technician for a Sub-Zero authorised service in Orange County, commuting to Murrieta for the high volume of premium brand calls in Greer Ranch and Copper Canyon before deciding to base the business locally.

Ryan's background

From Long Beach
to Murrieta.

  1. 2011Began appliance service after a technical school program at Cerritos College
  2. 2015Joined a Sub-Zero Wolf certified service in Newport Beach
  3. 2023Relocated his family to Murrieta
  4. 2025Started Appliance Repair Murrieta

Ryan began appliance service in 2011 after a technical school program at Cerritos College, where he studied applied engineering with a focus on residential systems. His first job was with a Whirlpool authorised service in Long Beach, where he spent four years learning the standard residential brands. In 2015 he joined a Sub-Zero Wolf certified service in Newport Beach and spent the next six years working almost exclusively on premium brand refrigeration, ranges, and dishwashers. That work took him regularly to Murrieta, where Greer Ranch, Copper Canyon, and the newer developments have the highest concentration of premium brand installations in Southwest Riverside County.

By 2023 the commute from Orange County was untenable. Ryan relocated his family to Murrieta, worked one more year for the Orange County service to build his local customer base, and started this business in 2025.

Why Murrieta specifically

Local knowledge
changes the fix.

Ryan lives in Murrieta with his family. His work is deliberately concentrated in Murrieta, French Valley, and Winchester because that is where the demand is strongest for the premium brand work he specialises in. Temecula is served for premium brand and commercial calls, but the primary focus is Murrieta.

Local knowledge specific to Murrieta that affects Ryan's diagnostic approach:

These master-planned communities have appliance packages that include Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf ranges, Miele dishwashers, and Thermador ovens as standard. A generalist appliance technician will misdiagnose Sub-Zero sealed system faults, damage Wolf igniter modules during removal, and be unable to read Miele error codes. Factory training on these specific brands is the difference.

Sub-Zero built-in refrigerators require specific ventilation clearances that many Murrieta installers did not respect during construction. Undersized ventilation grilles cause the sealed system to overheat and fail prematurely. Diagnosing this requires recognising the installation problem, not just replacing the compressor.

Water hardness in Murrieta runs 140 to 180 ppm depending on the water district. Scale damage is common in dishwasher spray arms, refrigerator water lines, and washing machine inlet valves. Diagnosis starts here on many calls before parts get ordered.

Southwest Riverside County regularly hits 100+ degrees Fahrenheit in summer. Refrigerator condensers work harder here than in coastal cities, and dusty condenser coils turn a marginal refrigerator into a failed one.

Older Whirlpool, GE, and Maytag appliances in the historic downtown neighbourhoods need a different repair approach than the Sub-Zero-and-Wolf appliances in Greer Ranch. Both are within scope.

Small commercial refrigeration, ice makers, and dishwashers in Murrieta Town Center and along Jefferson Avenue require faster response times than residential calls because restaurant downtime costs money by the hour.
